Announcements and News
SCHOOL PICTURE DAY HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED. We originally scheduled back in the spring and did not realize it conflicted with Rosh Hashanah. It will now be Monday October 20th. Picture forms have already been sent home already, please hold onto them in a safe place and send them in on the Picture day.
Check out Destination Imagination! Are you an actress? Actor? Do you like to build things, and work on a team? Maybe you have an interest in innovation, engineering, or storytelling? If this is you, have you ever thought about DI? The new Destination Imagination season is fast approaching at the Florence Sawyer School. DI, a team-based, creative problem-solving enrichment program, is open to students in grades 3-8. Destination Imagination teams are forming here at Sawyer and at many other schools across the state. DI kids will be working on challenges and solving problems in preparation for the regional tournament in March. There will be a general interest meeting open to all on Monday, September 22th, 2014 from 6-8 in the Sawyer Library. If you are a student interested in DI, or a parent interested in becoming involved with the program, please contact Nicole Caligiuri, email@example.com for information. Come see what DI is all about!
