Congratulations to all of the teams!. Three teams finished in the top 50 in the commonwealth of Massachusetts!
The Stock Market Game meets every Wednesday in the computer lab at Sawyer from 3:05 to 4;30. If you ever wanted to own part of Apple Computer or Disney, this is your chance! The Stock Market Game is available through a grant from Merrill Lynch. Students learn about economics, finance and business investing in securities and mutual funds through an interactive, team-based approach.
The Stock Market Game is open to students in Grades 5-8. Interested students must complete an extracurricular activity form . Each team of students will receive $100,000 to invest in the stock market. Students will learn the basics of stock trading and use math skills in the Sawyer Computer Lab.
